To kickstart the blog I thought a contest would be a good thing. Everybody seems to be running them latly – and why shoudlent I? Hehe.

Anyway – I’m going to try a little different approach then the rest. Usually contest holders got some kind of a locked price. Usually a little chunk of money. Well. I’m going for money aswell – but I’m not going to to be cheap if this contest gets big. (heh – in my dreams)

What to do
As you might understand I’m not holding this contest just to be nice – I’m going to get something out of it. And as all others I want to see my RSS numbers go up.

So the only thing you have to do to be a part of this contest is to subscribe to my RSS Feed with your email and make a comment to this post. This can be done to the right on this blog. ————->

$1 for each subscriber
So – “whats in it for me” you might think. Well – the prize pool is not going to be set until the actually contest is over. Because: For each email subscriber I get I will add $1 to the prize pool. But don’t be afraid. I will guarantee $30 to the winner(s). So if only 1 subscribe he/she will win $30.

The prize pool
I got the idea of the prize pool from poker – so those of you that have played tournaments might be familiar with it.

30> subscriber $30 1 winner
31-50 subscribers $#subscribers 2 winners.
51-100 subscribers $#subscribers 3 winners
100 < subscribers $#subscribers 4 winners

Example: If i get 108 subscribers there will be $108 in the price pool and there will be 4 winners. Getting $27 each. If I get 400 subscribers (!) there will still be only 4 winners and each will win $100.

(I will try to keep you updateded on how big the prizepool are on regular basis)

Rules
You can only enter the contest with one email-adress. I will be checking each email and comment to make sure you only entered ones.

Prize is transfered with PayPal.
