Google Chrome Browser. Open Source and a IE/FF killer?

Taken from the Google blog: At Google, we have a saying: “launch early and iterate.” While this approach is usually limited to our engineers, it apparently applies to our mailroom as well! As you may have read in the blogosphere, we hit “send” a bit early on a comic book introducing our new open source browser, Google Chrome….We will be launching the beta version of Google Chrome tomorrow in more than 100 countries.

So, that means we will have a spanking new browser to check out tomorrow. As it looks like now the Google browser will be very lightweight out of the box, but you will probably have the choice of putting plugins in it, just like FF.

Everyone knows Google founds FF. I wounder if FF is on board with the making of Chrome, if they aren’t, I wonder if they like the thought about another browser in the market. What do you think?
