The Viewty is in the House!
Today I finally received my new phone, LG KU990 (Viewty). I had to buy myself a new one, since my old HTC S710 suddenly died from me. (Apparently water damage, don’t know how that happened, but the repair guys said so, so my opinion doesn’t matter)
Anyway - what a phone Viewty is! I played with it for some hours now, and im really impressed. Big beautiful touchscreen. Cool interface, and a 5 mp camera which can record 120 frames per second! (aka, really cool slow motion effects!)
I’m not going to write a big review of the phone here, since there are lods of them on the internet already, but I got one comment for Chetan (his blog); Buy it, you will not regret it!

Water damage is an offen used reason… you know you can ask them to send you a photo of it?
What most people dont get, is that the service-shop dont get money if its waterdamaged, if it is something that is Nokia, SE, Samsung, etc fault, they get payd to fix it. Wich mean that they dont WANT it to be waterdamaged. (people think its just a excuse to get them to pay up for it).

Thanks for clearing up regarding repairing and the “excuse” water damage. I was also one of those that thought it was only an excuse to get paid. I told them to just get rid of it, since I don’t want to pay $100 just to get a broken mobile back)
Could be fun smashing it with a sledge hammer or something, and record it all with my brand new fancy 5mp 120fps camera though:P
I actually liked HTC, but in my opinion it was to slow. I guess it got a little better with S730 and maybe with the new touch series, but I haven’t tried them, and don’t need to since I have “discovered” LG!
A photo would help convince customers that doubt and think they just do it to get paid:p
HTC S710 isnt like the rest of the HTC phones, its slow, has fucked up menus, and no touch screen. HTC Touch Cruize is nice

But its fun to see LG is getting som market in Norway, at first no one wanted to buy LG because they all came with antennas. The reason were that in USA the LG phones came with an antenna because they had bad signal, and LG thought that the mountaincountry Norway cant be better (how wrong they were, hehe)
I myself waits for Nokia to come out with Symbian Series 60 Touch screen phone, Im a Nokia man, and will always be a Nokia man

But, Nokias N-series looks sweet, and I might be tempted when N96 comes out.

Not a fan of Nokia? You should have checked the N Series, mind have been changed
