Not Again Feedburner?!?

I noticed my subscription counter jumped from 62 to 55 today. Pretty big jump downwards, and it didn’t actually make any sense at all. So I decided to check it out. When looking at my CP at Feedburner I see that there are something diffuse with the Google Feedfetcher stats. yesterday it was 10 subscribers, today its 2. Since my stats are small it’s hard to tell, but i think the problem are located here.

I wanted to check other blogs, if I saw something unusually there, and guess what. I did.

JohnChow.com got as of today 10239 subscribers. At a normal day he got over 16.000 subscribers.

Shoemoney.com got as of today 7353 subscribers, which are about the half of his subscriber base.

So, it looks like feedburner has messed up, again. (and again actually)

On second hand, it might have something to do with this news release. And most probably the problem will be fixed tomorrow. Have a great day guys, and remember, sign up for my feed, and join the contest!

I noticed too (small numbers, but I noticed), from 15 to 11. and it all happened in a few minutes. I pushed F5 for 10 seconds ago, and then it went from 15 to 11.
Is feedburner exact anyways? I just use it to have ca. amount of readers.

This morning I had the same surprise as everyone else. At first I thought: What did I do? Yesterday I wrote about how Entrecard and Adsense don’t mix, and I thought for sure that I had wrote something that offended A LOT of people.

I was relived to see that during my daily reads other bloggers had the same problem.

Damn you feedburner, damn you for making me second guess my ability to blog.

Shame to say i already had a small no. of subscribers i.e. 38 which had decreased to just 31 this morning. Then i just then checked shoemoney’s blog and sudden fall there too gave me a sort of relief, thought that it might be a problem all over.. And ya it has decreased everywhere.

Good to see yours getting more than before..
Mine increased a bit but not back to the previous normal number. Became 34 and was 38.

Yes it is, and it’s good. Only 7 days left in this month. Hmm, think it’s going to be hard to beat my second goal of 80 subscribers. We’ll see though:) (Anyway, got my 50 subscribers within the month, so as long as it stays over that amount I can’t really complain.

you said yourself that your goal was 50, but you dreamed about 80… and 64 isnt that bad, I would place my money on ca 70 subscribers on your blog before next month. :p
