Right. But how does google think about that? Will it be counted as duplicated? Tempting thought. :)

It was kinda my first submit, I have had a few other stories, but did not work with them, so only a couple diggs on each.

Read my first post again staale.
If the domain is banned, or put on autobury you can install a plugin to the blog called domain mirroring. That way you can submit through another domain, but the visitors will still come to this blog.

Was this youre first post submitted to digg?
If so, it was strange you got banned right away.

I went on the front page of Digg twice with Tech In Demand, and a couple more times when I was writing for Mashable.

The impacts of it all were minimal. Thankfully, my web server didn't crash.

It was just a heavy spike in traffic for the next week, which continually dissipated. Maybe only 10 subscribers out of 16,000 visitors.

Of course, I was stupid and did not have an RSS button placed in the optimal place where people could click it.

Oh well, it is organic traffic for the win.
