Have you never blogged before? Going to try and make some money on the net? Well – then you most probably got some questions in your head and you are just waiting to get them answered. Well – I could have written a long and describing post here telling you what to do when you start up, but today Jason @ The University Kid Wrote a great post pointing out some importan – well – uhm – points.

To sum the (way to long) post up you need a .com domain, some decent hosting and of course a website. If you are going to be a blogger Wordpress is a really good script. Then when you got your site up you should start writing. Your own stuff! Don’t scrape other sites. (heh, kinda what I’m doing now…) Well if you find a post on a another site that are really good at least give the original author credit and write with your own words.

I guess you want to make money aswell? Well, then you need to sell adspots. Here you got many different solutions. You could sell out space yourself or give your adspace to a company like Google Adsense.

You aren’t going to make cash if you don’t got traffic. To get traffic you need to promote your site. Good places to do that is in webmaster forums (write good articles and leave your link in your signature.) Other then that you could give good comments on other bloggers where your name will be linking to your site.
